Answer:
Here is a way that I personally would rephrase it (great story btw) also sorry that I couldnt help with the second part.
Explanation:
A goddess that I closely relate to is Demeter. Characteristics of Demeter include being an extremely overprotective mother to her daughter, Persephone, and getting easily over stressed. She cares very deeply for Persephone and would sacrifice anything for her. Honestly, I relate to that as being a person, but being 15 years old, I can not relate to the mother part of her traits. Almost everyday, I feel different types of emotions depending on the situation. I get over- stressed, like Demeter, over the smallest inconveniences to the point where I can't control myself. The other characteristic that I share with Demeter is being highly overprotective towards my youngest sibling even when I have been repeatedly told not to, I just want her to have the best and be protected, as well as help her with school.
A myth about Demeter that caught my eye was her getting raped by Hades, the god of the underworld. I found this interesting because of the way she was able to handle this type of horrific situation being a mom. For example, in a part of the myth, it states that "Demeter roamed the earth over in search of her, by day and by night with torches. When she learned from the Hermonians that Hades had kidnapped her, enraged at the gods she left the sky and in likeness of a woman made her way to Eleusis". This shows that Demeter is a strong woman who can not just focus on her self, but on others as well.
Read the two excerpts from the text.

(1)... "I have not begun it yet," he always said, "but I shall be at it every night once the winter sets in...."
Excerpt 2:
(44) Summer came, and then he said:
(45) "It is too hot to write books. Get me another bottle of iced soda-water. I'll tackle the book in the autumn."
How does the author create tension in these excerpts?
OA by showing the seasons passing while the conflict remains between the characters
OB. by illustrating the increasing demands that the husband is making on his wife
OC. by suggesting that the two characters don't realize how quickly they are aging
OD. by revealing how infrequently the wife expresses her own needs and opinions
Answer:
a) by showing the seasons passing while the conflict remains between the characters.
Explanation:
Excerpt 1:
The seasons create suspense and tension in the story, with the protagonists' conflict unfolding alongside the changing seasons.
Excerpt 2:
The spouse's consistent procrastination in writing adds depth to his character, increasing stress and anticipation.
The seasons emphasize the husband's procrastination, and the spouse's procrastination in both excerpts heightens the tension.

In a response of two to three sentences, explain how the action described in the following lines helps show Grendel as a monster. "But on earliest occasion he quickly laid hold of A soldier asleep, suddenly tore him, Bit his bone-prison, the blood drank in currents, Swallowed in mouthfuls: he soon had the dead man's Feet and hands, too, eaten entirely."
Answer:
You would be looking for context clues in your quote that describe, "Grendal", as being a monster.
"...the blood drank in currents,"
"...he soon had the dead man's Feet and hands, too, eaten entirely"
Both those quotes seem to be monster-ish to me.
I don't know if this Grendal is a literal or symbolic monster, ie: cannibal.
I'm not going to directly tell you what to write but it should just be as simple as saying how each quote (I recommend using two quotes) about what Grendal is doing is also something that a monster might do.

Despite major cultural and technical advances, modern American life continues to resemble that of the Anglo-Saxon globe. Although it may take some time and some loss of pride to acknowledge it, the similarities between the two realms are uncanny because features of human nature have remained constant, from the workplace to personal relationships.Personal relationships from then and today are compared throughout the poem. Betrayal within a family, murder motivated by envy, and marriage for the wrong reasons are all themes in Beowulf, yet nothing has changed in today's soap operas, talk shows, and movies.We live in a technologically advanced world full with complex gear, but human nature has been constant since the Anglo-Saxon period. Modern-day America's actions match those observed in Beowulf because, while times have changed, individuals have not. Today,corruption , greed, and envy coexist with strength, bravery, and nobility. HOW MANY 2.5 INCH BY 6 INCH TILES WILL FIT ON A ON A WALLTHAT IS 2.5 FEET TALL AND 8 FEET LONG?
The number of tiles that would fit in this wall is equal to 192 tiles.
How to determine the number of tiles?First of all, we would determine the area of the tiles by using the formula for the area of a rectangle.
Mathematically, the area of a rectangle can be calculated by using this formula:
A = L × W
Where:
A represents the area of a rectangle.L represents the length of a rectangle.W represents the width of a rectangle.Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;
A = 2.5 × 6
Area of tiles, A = 15 square inches.
Next, we would convert the unit of the dimensions of the wall in feet to inches by using this conversion factor:
1 feet = 12 inches.
2.5 feet = 12 × 2.5 = 30 inches.
8 feet = 12 × 8 = 96 inches.
For the area of the wall, we have:
A = 30 × 96
Area of wall, A = 2880 square inches.
Now, we can determine the number of tiles that would fit in this wall:
Number of tiles = 2880/15
Number of tiles = 192 tiles.

She was curious as to whether or not dragons exist. As she began her investigation, she discovered that other experts had offered a variety of explanations as to why dragons couldn't possibly exist. She continued researching dragons after remembering her grandmother's supportive remarks and discovered some intriguing information.
She began to have hope that dragons might actually be real when she noticed how frequently writers or speakers mentioned dragons and featured them alongside other "real" animals. She started looking for new hypotheses with renewed optimism and discovered that many people held the view that dragons actually existed.
